EXPLORING THE BIBLE:  The Dickenson Series "What is the Bible?"  

Have you ever wondered what all the fuss is about the Bible?  From classical art to modern politics to strange predictions about the end of the world, this ancient collection of texts and its characters are woven into the fabric of western civilization. 

Exploring the Bible:  The Dickenson Series is a series of 6 classes designed to teach (not preach) about the Bible and its contents.  For people of all faiths or no faith, this educational series covers the bases from reading the most common stories and passages to learning the history and process behind the compilation of the Bible itself.  The class can be taken either informally or to receive Continuing Education Units and/or eventual certification in biblical literacy.  To find out more information, please visit www.massbible.org/exploring-the-bible.  Includes book and supplies.
